Tammy Lynn Stewart (nee Haennel)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Tammy L. Stewart, in her 52nd year. Tammy passed away on Friday, April 17th, 2026, at Marigold Hospice, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family following a lengthy cancer disease. Cherished daughter of the late Kenneth Haennel; she is survived by her mother, Ailene Haennel. She is survived by her beloved husband, Brent Stewart, with whom she shared twenty-one years of happiness in marriage. Tammy was the proud mother of Evan, and Taylor. Cherished sister of Lisa Adams (Dan), and Darren Haennel (Laura). Dearly missed by nieces and nephews: Megan, Andrew, Spencer, Sarah, and Isabell. She will also be fondly remembered by her brother-in-law, Jay Stewart, her beloved in-laws, Brian and Elizabeth Stewart, and her extended family.
Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Tammy understood how deeply proud and devoted she was as a wife and mother. She took immense joy in supporting her children, whether as a dedicated cheer mom or a passionate hockey mom, always there on the sidelines encouraging them. Tammy was known for her generosity and selflessness, as well as her vibrant spirit – often the life of any gathering. She loved travelling, shopping, and spreading positivity wherever she went.
Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who love her.
Arrangements entrusted to RUSHNELL FUNERAL HOME – PICTON (33 Main St W. 613-476-2450). To honour Tammy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Tammy’s Life has already taken place. If desired, memorial donations to Lakeridge Health Foundation and/or to Marigold Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
