Thomas “Tom” Earl Dunlop

September 20, 1940 – May 26, 2024

Entered into rest at Hospice Prince Edward, Picton, on Sunday, May 26, 2024, Tom Dunlop of Picton, formerly of Bloomfield, died at the age of 83. Son of the late Robert Earl Dunlop & Georgiann (nee Burdette) and husband of the late Joyce (nee Cledgett). Loving father of Doris Bigg (Richard) of Canmore, Alberta, Larry (Karen) of Kemptville, Miriam Dunlop of Picton and Alain Dunlop of Ottawa, and grandfather of Michelle, Matthew (Atsuko), Tamara (Liam), Warren (Chantale), Jennifer (Bergil), Rachelle and Ashley, and great grandfather of Leo, Kai, Pierce, Lydia, Kay, Luke, Everett and Emilia.  Dear brother of Dorothy King, Ann Murphy, both of Picton and John of Belleville. Predeceased by sister Beverly Struthers and brothers Robert and Norman. The family wish to express their gratitude and appreciation to Tom’s longtime family physician, Dr. Cliff Rice, the Oncology Department at Belleville General Hospital, Dr. Negar Chooback, the Prince Edward Family Healthcare Team and Hospice Prince Edward for the care that Tom received. Mr. Dunlop rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street, Picton (613-476-2450). In keeping with Tom’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Cremation has taken place and Tom will be laid to rest in the family plot at Cherry Valley Cemetery.
