Entered into rest at the Belleville General Hospital, on Friday, August 28, 2026, Tuula Saunders (nee Hynonen) of Picton, formerly of Mississauga died at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Ross. Loving mother of Kimberley Corbet of Napanee, and Erik Banks (Kieko Honda) of Kumano, Japan and grandmother of Sarah, Tyler and Steven and great grandmother of Joel. Survived by her brothers Seppo Hynonen and Harri Hynonen, both of Finland, and predeceased by her brother Jussi Hynonen. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by her lifelong best friend Hana Black (Tom) of Picton and their family. A Memorial Service will be held in St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church, Picton on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 1 pm with visitation for 1 hour prior to the Memorial Service. Private Family Interment at West Lake Church of Christ Cemetery, West Lake at a later date. If desired, donations to St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
