Suddenly entered into rest at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, Picton on Friday, March 17, 2023, Don Armstrong of Picton died at the age of 95 He was the son of the late Robert & Helen Armstrong and he was the husband of the late Betty (nee Thompson) and companion of the late Elaine Sharpe. Don was the loving father of Debbie Evans (Rick) of Colorado, Brian of Picton and he is remembered by Elaine’s daughter Alison Sharp of Northport. He was the dearest grandfather of Richard, Dillon and Bobby-Jo and great grandfather of Bradyn, Benjamin, Lillian, Brian and Kevin. Predeceased by his grandson Tyler. Don is survived by his brothers Jack Armstrong (Catherine) of Pickering and Bob Armstrong (Terri) of Kingston and predeceased by his sister Doris Davison and he will be remembered by his nieces and nephews. Mr. Armstrong rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street, (613-476-2450). In keeping with Don’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services at this time. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held at the Picton Elk’s Lodge at a later date to be announced. Inurnment in the Armstrong Family plot at Riverview Cemetery, Napanee at a later date.
