Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital, on Thursday January 10th, 2019. Barbara Balsillie, of Picton, formerly of Milford, in her 90th year. Loving wife of 67 years to Ian. Dear mother of Douglas (Leslie) of Harrow, ON, Wendy (late Francois) of Bath, Peter (Barbara) of Milford, Murray of Freeport, Bahamas, Sheila Mc Ilmoyle (David) of Ajax and the late Margaret (1960). Dear sister of Lillian and Norman and the late Renee, Belza, Edith and Stanley. Sister-in-law of the Late Margaret Balsillie (2015). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Megan, Amelia, Maureen, Janelle, Desirae and Billy.vMrs. Balsillie rested the Whattam Funeral Home, 33 Main Street, Picton, ON. A memorial service was held in the chapel on Wednesday, January 16th, 2019 at 2 pm. Reverend Lynne Donovan officiated. Friends visited with the family from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Cremation has taken place with interment in Kempville Public Cemetery in the spring.
