A group of 8 County kids, aged 12 to 17, made this rowboat during Youth Craft Academy with the help of mentors Katrina Tompkins, Paul Epp and Chris Bolton. The group has been working on the project at the Picton Armoury since March. “We launched the boat on Saturday at the PE Yacht club and, to our delight, it didn’t leak!” said mentor Katrina Tompkins. 

The boat was named Leonardo Da Vinci by Jimmy Coldicott. Sold in an online auction, it raised $1050 for the Academy.
