It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Keith Bowerman on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 in his 94th year. Predeceased by his parents Grace and Walter. Survived by his wife Joyce of 69 years. His four sons, Alan (Vilma), Kevin (Valerie), Glenn (Nancy), Grant (Michelle). Lovingly remembered and cherished by grandchildren Carissa (Markus), Alison (Greg), Cassandra (Isaac), Amanda, Joshua, Rachel, Nathan, Cata, Daniela and his great grandson Darian. Survived by his brother Doug (Joann), sister Eleanor (Joe) and his brother in law Lyle (Clair). He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. Don spent his youth growing up on a farm in Picton, Ontario. The love of the farm in Picton, Ontario. The love of the farm stayed with him his entire life. He worked 41 years at Westinghouse in the turbine division. Don inspired all of us as he felt family is not an important thing, it is everything. A special thank you to Arbour Creek staff for making Don’s final days comfortable.
