Peacefully surrounded by her family, entered into rest at the Trent Valley Lodge, Trenton on Sunday, September 26, 2021, Dorothy Brooks (nee Evers) formerly of Publow House and Queen Street, Picton died at the age of 97. She was the daughter of the late Harry & Ellen Evers (nee Manlove) and wife of the late Gordon. Dorothy was the loving mother of Dennis and his wife Reta of Ameliasburg, Patricia Wallwork and her husband Robert of Wellington and John and his wife Kathy of Picton. She was the dearest grandmother of Gregory, Steven, Dan, Lindsey, Ian, Lisa, and Michael and great grandmother of 13 great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Dianne O’Leary of Stirling and predeceased by her sisters Marjorie Evers, Jacqueline McCullough and Rosemary Cherry and will be remembered by her nieces and nephews. Mrs. Brooks is resting at the Rushnell Funeral Home – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street West, Picton (613-476-2450).
