BROWNE, Margaret Agnes
October 12, 1946 – August 1, 2023

Entered into rest at Belleville General Hospital, August 1st, 2023, Margaret Browne (nee Lawrence (Laurence)) of Belleville, died at the age of 76. Margaret was the daughter of the late William and Agnes Lawrence (Laurence) and is predeceased by her husband Emmett Browne and will be greatly missed by her companion Tony Galloway. She was the loving mother of Dean (Ilona), Cheryl (Donny Smith), John (Susan), Debbie Browne all of Peterborough, Dorothy Gorslin of Alberta, Mary (Ken Green) of Carrying Place, Donna Kessler (Andy Duplassie) of Sault St. Marie, Robin (Mike Brown) of Belleville, Diana Mamalygo (Jay Kempster) Carrying Place, and the late Jamie. She will always be remembered as a loving nanny to 23 grand-children and great-nanny to 16. Mrs. Browne is resting with Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). Visitation will take place at the funeral home, Saturday August 12th from 1:00-2:00pm followed by a service in the funeral home chapel at 2:00pm.
