BYFORD, Donald Christopher “Chris”
Entered into rest at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre, on Saturday, April 15, 2023, Chris Byford of R R #8, Picton, died at the age of 73. He was the son of the late Ron & Phyllis Byford (nee Wannamaker) and was the cherished husband for 50 years to Shirley (nee Hoag). Chris was the loving father of Jason (Mel) of Belleville, Jeremy (Shauna) of R R #8, Picton and Ashley (Casey) of Picton and he was the grandfather of Paige, Jordyn and Evelyn. He is survived by his siblings Diane Alder (Keith), Sharen Sheppard (Doug), Rudy (late Sharon), Richard (Linda May), Terry (Linda), Rhonda Johnston, Susan Brant, Cindy Vincent Oberle (Joe) and Drew (Jennifer) and he will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Mr. Byford rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). Cremation has taken place. A Private Family Celebration of Chris’ Life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations to the Loyalist Humane Society in memory of Chris would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences and to share memories of Chris, please visit: www.rushnellfuneralhomes.com
