Peacefully with her loving husband of 68 years, Creighton and her family present at the Belleville General Hospital on Saturday, November 27, 2021, Shirley Carr (nee McGee) of Picton died at the age of 85. Loving mother to David (Julie) and Lynda and proud grandmother to Blake (Sherry), Brent (Faye), Melanie (Kyle), Nicole, Stephanie, Shannon, and Jessica (Justin) and great grandmother to Lilly, Liam, Norah, Avery, and Kain who were a source of joy. A Celebration of Shirley’s Life will be held at a future time. Arrangements entrusted to the Rushnell Funeral Home – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street West, Picton (613-476-2450). A special appreciation to Dr. John E. Coady, the nurses and staff of 3rd Floor Sills Wing at Belleville General Hospital who took such good care of Shirley.
