Suddenly entered into rest at her home, with her husband at her side, on Monday, August 21, 2023. Maxine Carter (nee Curlette) of Napanee, passed away at the age of 78. Beloved wife for 60 years of Donald. Loving mother of the late Mike (surviving Allison Burris) of Consecon, Paula Floris (Martin) of Roslin, and Matthew (Paula) of Marmora. Loved grandma of Clayton, Tommy (Stacy), Rebecca (Chris), Madeline (Tim), Joshua (Cheryl), late Joseph, Benjamin ((Kelsey), Jacob (Breanna), Nicholas (Ryeleigh), Zachary (Emily) Joselynn, Ashley (Brandon), Bethany, Mason and Daegan and great grandmother of Abigail, Daniel, Lillian, Taylor, Keadyn, Claire, Brooke, Alex, Adam, Athena, Brock, Kali-Jet, and Mowat. Dear sister of Frannie Holler (late Doug), Joseph Curlette (Betty), Val Cork (Dave) and Eileen Carter (Doug), all of Green Point. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Carter rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 2 p.m. with visitation from 1 pm until time of Service. Interment in the family plot at Bowerman McFaul Cemetery, Bloomfield. If desired, donations to the M S Society would be appreciated by the family.
