The family of the late Donald Cockburn would like to thank the amazing staff at Hastings Manor for their excellent care of Don, especially the PSW’s and nurses who looked after him in his last days. Thanks to Dr. Mark Froats and the staff at the Emergency Department at the Belleville General Hospital, and Dr. Sarah Leblanc and the staff at the Picton Hospital for taking such good care of Don during his brief illness. Lastly, we would like to thank the family and friends who donated to the Picton Hospital in Don’s name, as well as sent cards, flowers, and placed phone calls to the family. A special thanks to all the friends and neighbours at Green Point for their support at this sad time. Don would have been touched to see how many people cared about him.
