Passed peacefully on Wednesday June 5th, 2019 at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital. Rose Cole, of Ridge Road, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late LaVerne. Loved mother of Charles & his wife Penny of Wellington, Linda Lyons and her husband Larry of Bloomfield, Robert of Belleville and Susan Phillips and her husband Larry of Glenburnie. Grandmother of Bruce, Adam, Sara, T.J., Wade, Krista, Stephanie, Jacquie, Leslie, Christopher, Gregory and Bradley, and remembered with love by their families. Dear sister of Art Insley, Grace Flynn and the late Bill Insley, Betty Davis and Charles Insley. Rose enjoyed playing cards with family and friends and took pride in her many years of service with the Ladies’ Auxiliary of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 78, Picton. A celebration of Rose’s life will be held at the Whattam Funeral Home, 33 Main Street, Picton on Friday June 21st at 2 p.m. with visitation the hour prior. Rev. Audrey Whitney officiating. Interment to follow at Cherry Valley Cemetery. If desired, donations to Royal Canadian Legion Branch 78 or Hospice Prince Edward would be appreciated by the family.
