Commemorative crosswalks were painted overnight on  October 16 in Picton on Ferguson Street and in Wellington on Main Street to honour Indigenous Veteran’s Day (November 8) and Remembrance Day (November 11). 

The municipality said the County of Prince Edward is committed to recognizing the service, contributions and sacrifices of our veterans and those who serve in the Canadian Armed Forces.
