A concert featuring 2019 Juno Award nominees and benefitting the annual Prince Edward County Chamber Music Festival will be held on May 16 at the Waring House.
Andrew Wan and Charles Richard-Hamelin are 2019 Juno award nominees for classical album of the year and will be performing at this years benefit concert/silent auction.
Wan of the New Orford String Quartet and concert master for the Montreal Symphony Orchestra performs with Charles Richard-Hamelin, a sliver medalist in the Frederic Chopin international piano competition and the duo will perform Beethoven’s violin sonatas No.1 and 5.
Hear this high-powered duo play first before they record the sonatas in June and embark on tour.
This year’s host Julie Nesrallah.
A singer, actress and host of CBC Radio’s Tempo, Nesrallah is no stranger to the Chamber Music Festival and will also be a part of an exciting lineup of performers for the festival in Sept.
This year’s benefit concert and silent auction evening event will include: mingle time with the musicians and other classical music lovers, hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
The silent auction will include two categories, concerts and new to you.
