John Alexander Connor of Picton ON died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 in his 73 year. John was born in Wiarton ON and is predeceased by his parents Ivan and Mary Connor and brothers Richard, and Robert. Loving husband of Karen and dear father of Josh (Erin), Leah (Nick), Katrina (Colin), and Alex. Doting grandfather to Norah, Robert, and Luna. Cherished brother to Suzann. He will be missed by his cousins, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr Levesque and the nurses at the Belleville Oncology unit, Picton Hospital Medical Daycare, the Palliative Care team of Bayshore, Amber Glasspoole NP, and Dr Norma Charierre. Your compassion and kindness made this difficult journey much easier to navigate. Each of you has gone above and beyond to make sure John’s needs were always met. A reception in John’s honour will be held on Saturday October 29th at Rushnell Funeral Home – Picton Chapel (33 Main St, Picton, 613-476-2450) from 12-2pm.
