A series of pathways designed to create a safe, integrated and accessible network through Delhi Park is on the horizon.
County council named Kate MacNaughton to the sit as a member on the Delhi Park Community Connections Plan. The plan will be based on existing infrastructure, environmental and landscape constraints, locations of informal pathways and parking, needs of the community and a base concept plan.
The plan calls for a network of 3m wide trails and the overarching goal of the project is to improve accessibility while better connecting pedestrians and cyclists to Delhi Park’s surrounding areas, including Picton Main St.
A public meeting was held in Delhi on Sat., Dec 2 that offered an an overview of the project Municipal staff and team members from Victoria Taylor Landscape Architects were on hand to record public input.
