DI NANNO, Donna May
(August 27, 1936 – November 24, 2022)
Born in old Picton Hospital to Susie (nee Frey) and Lorne Knight. First born of 8 children. Siblings Wilma, Sandra, Lorna, Marta, Linda, David and Brian. Mother Susie born in Glenbain, Saskatchewan. Father Lorne was born in house on High Shore Rd – a relative of U.E. Loyalist Sgt.Peter Collier through his mother Stella Collier. Donna worked at Bank of Montreal in Picton before moving to Toronto with her friend Margaret Anne. In 1959, Donna Knight and Carmine Di Nanno were married. After sons David and Anthony were born, travelled to Italy a few times to visit relatives from Carmine’s family. Donna loved to play Scrabble, read and play cards. She appreciated going to church when younger. She is resting at Holy Cross Cemetery Thornhill Ontario.
