Beloved wife of the late Dave Doornbos Sr. Entered into rest at her home on February 27th, 2023. Alida was the loved mother of Nora (Gerry) Westervelt, David Jr. (Darlene), Carla (Glen) Gillis, and Pat (Larissa). She was the loving grandmother of Teresa (Bruce), Lisa (Tony), Jessica (Shawn), Wesley (Katlyn), Amanda (Trevor), Stephanie (Chris), Richard, Joey (Kayla), Nicci, Eric (Katie), Jessy (Ally), and Hailee and is predeceased by the late Jeffery. Alida was the great-grandmother to 26. She was the sister to Mary and Abraham (Susanne), and is predeceased by John, Eva, and Nora, as well as her parents Arie and Maria Oosterlee. The family extends their special thanks to Janice Heard, Amber, and Dr. Sarah LeBlanc for being a strong and empathetic support during her last moments here on earth. Mrs. Doornbos rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450).
