The Quinte Educational Museum and Archives popular “Music Nites” continue to delight audiences with a variety of musical groups and genres. On Wednesday, Aug 1 Drew Ackerman and Friends will rock the Wellington Legion at 7 p.m. with John Devries on bass, Steve Empringham on drums and Steve Wilson on keyboard.
With Drew’s expertise on lead guitar and vocals, folks will be encouraged to sing along and dance to their favourite classic rock tunes.
The Legion will offer burgers, hotdogs and fries for a quick fix before the show at 7 p.m. Admission is by donation for two worthy causes: Quinte Educational Museum & Archives will be happy to donate a portion of funds to The deVries Natural Heritage Collection Project to be housed at The Ameliasburgh Heritage Village in the near future.
QEMA is delighted to present a special concert with The Kitchen Family, Roanna, Penny and John along with Kim Inch and Michelle Found on Wednesday, Aug 15 at Wellington Town Hall, starting at 6:30 p.m.
With the amazing stylings of Tom Dietzel on keyboard these talented women will sing from the heart and touch yours.
Admission is $5.00 per person for this outstanding evening of pure talent.
QEMA thanks the Prince Edward County community for the support shown over the last 12 years at their April-October music nights.
Funds raised have resulted in the restoration of the Victoria Schoolhouse in Ameliasburgh and the programs offered there.
