Suddenly at his home in Bloomfield on Saturday May 2, 2020, William Dunphy passed away at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Margaret Rose (nee Pearce) for over 60 years. Loved father of Arthur and Donna of Picton, Bernie of Bloomfield, Bill Jr. and Patricia of Belleville and Debbie and Hank Lang of Manistique, Michigan, USA. Much loved brother “Melvin” of Alice MacPherson of Kingston and brother-in-law “Billy” of Edessa Blanchard of Kingston. Proud grandfather of Joanne, Scott, Curtis, James, Taryn, Dana, Dustin, Taylor, Ashley, Axton and Tyler and great granddad of 2. Son of the late Michael and Annie (nee Young) of North Sydney, Nova Scotia and brother of the late Lillian (Boutilier), Edward, Douglas, Catherine (Dandy), Hattie (Keagan), Michael, Arthur and Margaret (Moore) with many nieces and nephews from the east to the west coasts of Canada. Due to current circumstances there will be no service at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation with interment at Quaker Cemetery to follow.
