Entered into rest at Hallowell House Long Term Care Facility, Picton, on Monday, August 28th, 2023. Diana Ellis of Picton, died at the age of 83. Daughter of the late Frank & Violet Stewart (nee Beach). Beloved wife of the late Fergie. Grandmother of Tia Graham and great grandmother of Fergus. Predeceased by her siblings Garfield Stewart (Jessie), Florence Latimer (Trevor), Kenneth Stewart (Lillian), Laura Jean Jarvis (Gordon), Donald Stewart (Marjorie) and Olivia Wiun (John). Lovingly remembered by niece Donna Jean Legge (Charles) and her family. Special thanks to her friend and counsellor Ginny Pearsall, and to the management and staff of the Picton Manor and Hallowell House for their care and support of Diana over the years.  Mrs. Ellis rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). A Graveside Service will be held at Glenwood Cemetery, Picton, on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 2pm where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved Fergie.
