FARRINGTON, Sharron Lesley

On Thursday November 17, 2022, Sharron Lesley Farrington, beloved wife of Daniel Farrington passed away peacefully at Belleville General Hospital. She was 79 years old. Sharron was born Dec 5,1942 at Castle Donington, Leicestershire, England during the second world war to parents William G Goodwin and Amelia (Terri) Woolmore. Sharron along with her younger brother Garnet emigrated back to Canada after the war to her fathers home town of Picton, Prince Edward County, ON. Sharron was an active member of the community. In her early years she was involved with Sophiasburgh Girls Softball as a coach and later as county convener. Sharron worked at Happy Hours School as a support worker and continued with her education at Loyalist to work towards Early Childhood Education. She eventually became the Manager of Little Learners Daycare where many Picton mothers and fathers came to know her well. After her marriage to Daniel, Sharron left Little Learners to become an integral part of the running and operation of Dan’s Taxi Service in Picton until their eventual retirement from the business. Sharron is survived by her loving husband of many years Daniel, brothers Garnet (Connie), Kieron (Jamila), and Sean (Cathy) and by her children Deirdre Gordon (Jim), Christopher Evans (Kim), Derrick Evans (Rob) and Grandchildren Garrett, Tristan, Josh and Lesley. Sharron will be greatly missed by the entire Farrington Family who loved her dearly including children Heather Loft (Mike), Wendy Gazley (Al), Norm (Rebecca), Randy (Melissa), and Grandchildren Brody, Tara, Krista, Kaley, Danielle, Megan, Joe, and Amber. Per request, their will not be a service or visitation.
