Nursing Home, Picton. Doris Noreen Foster (nee Blakely) at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Arnold Foster. Caring mother of Nancy Stephenson (Mike), Muriel Rabbie (Mark) and the late Bruce Foster. Grandma to Shawne Dykes (Darryl), Bronwen Stephenson (Josh), Sarah Baird (Andrew), Lauren Grigg (Brendan), Matt Rabbie (Alissa), Brad Rabbie (Katlyn) and her 9 great grandchildren Hannah, Abbey, Benjamin, Harrison, Lucas, Lilah, Gennavive, Charles and Hudson. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Doris was a kind and generous person who will be remembered for her volunteering, cooking skills and loving nature. She joyously always put others above herself. A special thank you to the staff at Kentwood Park Nursing Home for their patience and kindness. Friends called at the AINSWORTH FUNERAL HOME, 288 NOXON AVENUE, WELLINGTON on Monday, May 29th, 2023. An Eastern Star Service was held at 6:00 p.m. with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, May 30th at 11:00 a.m. at the Friendship United Church, Demorestville. Reception to followed the service at the church. Interment Glenwood Cemetery, Picton Memorial Donations to the PEC Memorial Hospital Back the Build (backthebuild.ca) would be appreciated by the family.
