John Gordon Foster
Peacefully, with his loving family and friends at his side, John of Belleville, formerly of Port Hope, died at Belleville General Hospital on Saturday January 5th, 2019, at the age of 47. Beloved husband of Peggy Rodgers.  Loved father of Paige (Ahtonwa) of Demorestville and Tyler (Tori) of Belleville. Cherished son of Gord and Linda Foster of Consecon. Dear brother of Troy (Crystal) and uncle of Irish. Remembered by the Rodgers family and by Tracey Frederick. John was a hard worker, most recently with Reid’s Dairy, Belleville, and formerly with Nestle, Trenton, and CPK Interior Products, Port Hope. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at BGH and John’s Medical Team at KGH who supported him throughout his short battle with Glioblastoma. A Celebration of John’s life will be held Saturday January 12, 2019 at the Belleville Club, 210 Pinnacle St., Belleville from 1-4pm. If desired donations to Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada, Wounded Warriors Canada, or Belleville Humane Society would be appreciated by his family.
