At the age of 65. Beloved husband of Rosemary Gillis. Dear father of Chris Gillis. Joe leaves behind sisters Shirley Mentier (Arvo), Dianne Wickens (Paul) and brothers Allan, Chuck, Duncan and Mike, as well as several nieces and nephews. Rosemary wishes to thank everyone for their love and support during Joe’s illness. Special thanks to his roommate Jeff Morrison, PSW Donna Kelley, dear friend Debbie Harris and the KGH Kidd Nine Oncology Floor for their exceptional care of Joe. As per Joe’s wishes cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to gather on Friday, October 21st, 2022 at the Picton Golf & Country Club from 2-5 p.m. to share memories and stories of Joe.
