Abby came into our world on December 11th, 2001 and she left our world on August 19th, 2019 with her loving parents by her side. Abby passed away at Sick Kids Hospital after her dignified four year battle with cancer. Abby leaves behind her parents Lisa and Garry Heffernan. Loving sister of Trevor, Melissa and Griffin. Sadly missed by her grandparents Patricia & Garry Heffernan, Carmen Rose & David Owen, and Charlie & Diane Rose. Loving niece of Lionel (Angie), Darlene, Barbie (Pete), Annette, Tiffany (Doug), Shawn and the late Michael (Lori). Abby will be remembered by her cousins and huge extended family. Her grace, her strength and her beauty inside and out will always be cherished by her friends. A memorial service was held at the Picton United Church on Wednesday August 28th, 2019 at 2 p.m. Friends were invited to visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. Reverend Phil Hobbs officiated. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations to Abby’s little brother Griffin’s education fund (payable to Lisa Heffernan “In Trust”) or “Tears Mean Love” would be appreciated by the family.
