Peacefully at the H J McFarland Memorial Home on Sunday September 30, 2018, Evelyn Henry (nee Claxton) passed away at the age of 102. Beloved wife of the late Elmer. Loved mother of Janis and her husband David Gorsline of Belleville and Wanda and her husband Neil Thompson of Cherry Valley. Proud grand-mother to Christopher (Dayle) Gorsline, Dayna Bates and Chad and Tiffany Thompson, great-grandmother to Shawn, Dylan, Jasmine, Ethan, Nolan and Logan and great-great-grandmother to Bentley. A graveside service will take place in Cherry Valley Cemetery on Wednesday, October 10 at 11 am. The Reverend Audrey Whitney officiating. Memorial donations to the H J McFarland Resident’s Council or Hospice Prince Edward would be appreciated by the family.
