HUNTER, John
With great sadness and so much love, we share that John Hunter passed away on May 3rd, 2023 at the PEC Memorial Hospital, Picton. He was the husband of Mary Hunter (nee McColl). John lived in the County for over 40 years, working as a DSW at Prince Edwards Heights, but mostly as a purchasing agent at the Picton Hospital. He loved his family, music, camping, collecting, history and trains. He is survived by his loving wife Mary, daughter Lindsay Calvert-Hunter and her husband Justin Calvert, grandchildren Grace and Theo, brother David Hunter and his wife Sandy and his nieces Shirley, Donna, Krizsha and Jenn. He will rejoin his parents Marjorie and Harold Hunter and his brother Kim Hunter. May he rest in peace and know you are remembered. A Private family service will be held at the Ainsworth Funeral Home, 288 Noxon Avenue, Wellington at a later date.
