Ours is a community that cares.
The local Keep Kids Warm campaign was a rousing success this year. 100 children, from newborns to 12-year-olds, will now be outfitted with winterwear.
Similar campaigns run in Belleville, Centre Hastings, Stirling, and Marmora.
“We know with the rising prices of everything it’s tough to budget for these high-cost items,” said Constable Nicole Corrdingly.
“We thank everyone in Prince Edward County, from the businesses to the groups to private donors for their support of the Keep Kids Warm campaign.”
Keep Kids Warm is open annually to working families and those in need of assistance. The registration intake period typically starts in mid-September. Visit www.keepkidswarm.ca for more details.
