KETTLEWELL, Jean Frances (nee Haynes)

Jean was called home by the Lord, with her family, on Friday, June 9, 2023, Jean Kettlewell (nee Haynes) of Bloomfield, died at the age of 87. Born on March 9, 1936 in Bassano, Alberta, Jean made her way to call The County home in 1974. Jean was actively involved in her community and was loved and adored by all who knew her. She was the loving mother to her 3 children: Donna Hennessy (Laverne) of Hillier, Bill Kettlewell (Lisa) of Guelph, and Rob Kettlewell (Catherine) of Angus. She will be missed beyond measure by her grandchildren: Tyler (Kailey), Kandice (Vanessa), Alex, Rachel (Carter), Kristina (James), Hayden (Tory), Hayley (Michael), Haley and Addison and by her 4 great grandchildren: Lilly, Sidney, Jaxtyn, and Jack. She was the sister of the late Phyllis Snell and Doris Stevenson and she will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kettlewell rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 1 p.m. with visitation for 1 hour before the Service.  Private Family Interment at Quaker Cemetery, Bloomfield. If desired, donations to the Loyalist Humane Society would be appreciated by Jean’s family.
