At last our government has decided to bite the bullet and take action on climate change. According to the scientists we have just 12 years left to turn things around.

Charging polluters to pay for their pollution makes sense and is the most effective way to go about it. If we all have to pay more for gas, maybe we’ll think twice about the necessity of a journey. If we pay more for heating maybe we can turn the thermostat down a notch.

I want my children and grandchildren to benefit from the beautiful planet into which I was born.

Justin Trudeau states “If not now, when? And if not his government, then who?” I admire him for his determination. It seems that most politicians are content to bury their heads in the sand and pretend all is well with the planet.
