After nearly five years of trying to get an expansion of their trailer park to add 337 new sites, County Council approved the proposal at a special meeting.
All of the concerns expressed were against such a development in such a significant area of the county. Mike Harper is wrong: We don’t need more revenue; we need less spending. Adding 337 sites to the County will not reduce taxes one nickel. Soon, Council is going to do it again with the “Earth Landscape Hotel & Spa.”
Too bad. I would like in my time to see the day when respect for the environment equals the rush to exploit it.
