The 2022 Prince Edward County Business Excellence Awards, sponsored by The Municipality of Prince Edward, were handed out at the awards ceremony during an exclusive online event, January 26th , 2023. The ceremony was presented by the Prince Edward County Chamber of Commerce and is designed to officially recognize and honour local businesses who have demonstrated a passion for excellence.
In all, more than 50 businesses and individuals were profiled in seven categories, with recipients announced live online.
In a statement, The Prince Edward County Chamber of Commerce thanked the dozen judges who adjudicated the nominees, the Master of Ceremonies Short Attention Spa, OneLook Productions and Luminescent, Ah-Bohd Home Store as well as all show sponsors and swag bag contributors.

As the voice of business in The County and beyond, The Prince Edward County Chamber of Commerce has been working tirelessly to create opportunities to connect leaders.
“We were pleased to continue the tradition of supporting local business by showcasing leadership and celebrating business excellence at the 3rd Annual Business Excellence Awards in a live, virtual awards ceremony,” said Lesley Lavender, Chief Executive Officer at The Prince Edward County Chamber of Commerce.
Lavender explained business awards panel of judges were impressed by the calibre of companies represented and every company that is nominated receives careful attention. All nominated companies are evaluated based on the category criteria, including community contributions and business leadership.
The 54 nominees have shown great resilience overcoming the challenges that businesses are currently facing by adapting their operations and stepping up as community leaders. “We were thrilled to be able to celebrate and honour them.”
“We were delighted to recognize and honour this year’s finalists through the final virtual experience. This event was introduced as a virtual experience at the height of the pandemic to showcase business excellence while at the same time reinvesting in our community and local economy,” said Lavender “I am thrilled to announce the 2023 awards celebration will be our first in-person Business Excellence Awards. We will gather at The CAPE on November 9th, 2023. Details are in the works, but early-bird tickets are already available on our website.”
Taking advantage of the opportunity to support and reinvest in our business community, ticket holders were given exclusive access to the live, interactive event production. As a part of this one-of-a-kind experience, each ticket holder also received a gift bag showcasing a broad array of products from Chamber members and the broader business community.
