At home on Saturday October 5, 2019, Friendly Fred passed away at the age of 76. Survived by his partner Catherine Neville and predeceased by his wife Velma Brown. Much loved father of Jennifer and her husband David Gadzala of Georgetown and proud grandpa to Emily and Claire. Brother to Ingrid (George) Reeves of Ajax and the late Dagmar (Dieter Marschke) of Oshawa and uncle to Jill, Bethany, Melissa and the late Jannette. Sadly missed by Catherine’s family, Papa Fred will be especially missed by Brooklyn, Emma, Isla and Oscar. Mr. Lowenberger is resting at the Whattam Funeral Home, 33 Main St. Funeral service in the chapel on Friday, October 11 at 2 pm. The Venerable Charles Morris officiating. Interment Quaker Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday afternoon from 2 to 4 pm. and evening from 6 to 8 pm.
