McCONNELL, Richard Gary
Suddenly entered into rest at the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, Picton on Saturday, April 15, 2023, Richard McConnell of South Bay, formerly of Nova Scotia and Ottawa, died at the age of 72.  He was the son of the late Bob & Betty McConnell (nee MacGillvray) and was the husband for 49 years to Stephanie (nee Beaton). Richard was the loving father of Maggie Carter (Mark), Cullum, and Seamus (Francesca) and the grandfather of Raymond, Frankie, Selena, Callie and Kai. He is survived by his siblings Connie MacNeil, Ron McConnell, Bill McConnell, Mary Elizabeth McConnell, André McConnell, Margo Turner and Sharron Richards and he will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Mr. McConnell rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). Cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Rev.
