It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Martin (Marty) of Picton, ON, on Monday June 26th, 2023 at the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital. Marty was the loving son of the late William (Billy) McKee. Marty is survived by his mother Suzanne Schroedter (Wilfred) of Ameliasburgh, ON. He was a loving husband and best friend of 28 years to Michele McKee (nee Brown). Marty is survived by siblings, Bonnie McKee Nicholson (Alan) of Warkworth, ON, David Hall – McKee of Wilberforce, ON, Corina Hall-McKee of Halliburton, ON, and Rose Smith of Barrie, ON, Nicole Bylow of Barrie, ON. Marty was a loving father to Laura, Nikk(Tamara). He was predeceased by his granddaughter Trinity. He was a loving grandfather to Hailey, Hayden, Jade, Cohen, Correy-Ann, Emmett, Justice, Jack, Calum, and Laurynn. He also will be missed dearly by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many more that he chose as his family. Marty will be fondly remembered by all who knew him for his kind and loving personality/generosity. There will be a graveside service at the Glenwood Cemetery, Picton, ON on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 1:00 pm. A Celebration of Marty’s Life will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 2 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Kevin & Lorraine McKee’s Home, 1686 County Road 13, Milford, ON.
