MILLER, Patricia ‘Pat’ Lea
Patricia Lea Miller (Pat) entered into rest at Westlake Terrace Nursing Home, on Monday, February 6, 2023 in her 74th year. Previously resided in Wellington and on West Lake Road. Pat was born November 14, 1949, an only child of Ida Mae Miller. Lifelong partner of Terrance W. (Terry) Ellsworth. Pat loved all animals; especially her cat. In her spare time she was an avid reader, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, camping and time outdoors. Loving granddaughter of the late Ira and Ethel Hewton of Wellington, Niece of predeceased Aunts and Uncles, Charles (Shirley) Hewton, Elmer (Phyllis) Hewton, Eleanor (Archie) Stewart. Lovingly remembered by cousins John (Linda) Stewart, Charlotte (Jim) Irvine, Tim (Tracy) Hewton, Lorrie (Rick) Hewton, George (Sylvia) Reddom, Donna (John) Edkins, Helen (Roger) McMurray, Joan (Albert) Vanderlaan and all of their extended families. Predeceased by cousins Kathy (David) Evans and Tom Hewton. A very special bond with her Cousin Charlotte Irvine (nee Stewart) (Fondly known as Pat’s little sister) Patricia graduated from Loyalist College Nursing Assistant program, and graduated as a Registered Nursing Assistant in 1973 and spent her life caring for the sick and elderly residents of Westlake Terrace for 37 years as an R.N.A./R.P.N. There will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place and has been entrusted to Steele Funeral Home in Belleville. Interment will be done at a later date. A very special thank you to all the staff at Westlake Terrace Nursing Home for all the love and care they gave to Pat while she was there.
