MINNS, Wendy Dianne
January 2, 1961 – August 4, 2023
Wendy passed peacefully with family lovingly by her side on August 4, 2023, at Kingston General Hospital. Wendy was a devoted wife to Raymond Minns for 43 years, and loving mother to Matthew (Lindsay), Megan (Jeremy), Jordan (Hilary), and Riley (Paul). Wendy was a proud Nana to Mason, Madelyn, Raelyn, Charlee, Harper, Madden, Ethan, Millie and Sullivan. Wendy dearly missed her late parents, Jack and Dolores Roberts of Kingston, Ontario. Wendy was a treasured sister, aunt, niece, and friend who always found time to make deep connections, laugh, and love. Wendy was passionate about dogs and leaves behind her dear Otis and Stella. Throughout her lifetime, Wendy was happiest making memories at family cottages on Lake Temagami, Garter Lake, and Sangster Lake. She dedicated her career to The Beer Store (Picton) and proudly celebrated 30 years of service. She was a skillful baker who loved to share her baked goods with all those around her. Her legacy of kindness, hilarity, and zest for life will be carried forward and inspire us to live each day with love and resilience. Wendy will be missed dearly and loved forever. Cremation has taken place in keeping with Wendy’s wishes. Friends are invited to join Wendy’s family for a Celebration of Life at the Elk’s Hall (21 Elks Street, Picton, ON) on Sunday, August 27, 2023, from 1:00PM-4:00PM. If desired, donations to the Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward would be appreciated by Wendy’s family.
