The Ontario Provincial Police’s Criminal Investigation Branch has taken over a missing person investigation centred in Prince Edward County. And a $50,000 reward has been posted for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of those responsible for Jonathan Fowler’s disappearance.

It’s been five years since Mr. Fowler went missing. He was last seen in Picton in July of 2019 and OPP investigators are confident someone has a crucial piece of information that will resolve this case.

Mr. Fowler also used the aliases Joshua MacDonald, “Johnny Boy” or sometimes a combination of those names. He also uses the name Daniel or the last name Shewan.

Mr. Fowler would now be 38 years old and, in addition to Picton, was known to spend time in Napanee, Kingston and Denbigh.

He’s described as:

  • 6’2″ (188 cm)
  • Slim/average build
  • Brown hair – short in either a buzz cut or shaved head
  • Sometimes had a mustache
  • Hazel eyes
  • Multiple tattoos on arms and chest

Anyone with information regarding Mr. Fowler’s disappearance or whereabouts should contact the Prince Edward County OPP Crime Unit at 1-888-310-1122. If you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or online at ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
