Peacefully entered into rest surrounded by the love of her family at her home, on Friday, March 18, 2022, Shirley Nieman of Picton died at the age of 72.  She was the daughter of the late Herman & Pearl Nieman (nee Vallier).  Shirley was the loving mother of Kevin (Kathy), Christine (Ted), Sherry (Jay), Angela (Derek), Shawn (Julie) and Shane.  She was the special Nan of Evan, Kaleb, Kirsten, Tristan, John, Matt, Alyssa, Hailey, Kelsey, Kaitlyn, Austin, Lindsay, Jenna, Joey, Josh, Brittany, Renee, Theo, Sawyer, Brody, Graham, Karsen, Blake, Nora, Grayson and Kane.  She is survived by her siblings Graham, Ruby, Mickey, Helen, Emily, Ray, Greg, and Jerry. She is predeceased by her siblings June, Gordon, Bessie, Linda and Faye.  Shirley will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and Shirley will be greatly missed by her best friend Joanne.  She will be missed by her fur baby Gunner. Ms. Nieman is resting at the Rushnell Funeral Home – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street West, Picton (613-476-2450).  Cremation has taken place.
