Aylan Couchie, “these aren’t the sunsets I’m used to II” (Altered digital photograph, 2023)
To celebrate National Indigenous History Month the Gazette presents Aylan Couchie, a Nishnaabekwe interdisciplinary artist from Nipissing First Nation. Ms. Couchie was a juror for the 31st Annual Art in the County Show and Sale, which features 125 works by 88 County artists. The exhibition runs at the Picton Armoury until July 7th.
