Tara Wilkinson’s “Barn in the Mist” (2023), is a part of her Barnscapes exhibition at Andara Gallery, running through 31 December.
Ms. Wilkinson says of this photograph, “This barn is located on Highway 62, just north of Wilson Road. In fact, I can see it every morning from our backyard. Nestled in a bit of a valley, the mist collects there early in the morning and creates this beautiful mystical scene.Another never-ending ‘Pinch me, I live here’ moment.
Of the exhibition as a whole, she adds, “This show is dedicated to my dear friend, the late ‘Mr. Clifford’ Foster of Fosterholm Farm – celebrating its 100th Anniversary in 2024.”
Ms. Wilkinson tells the story of their friendship in a chapter entitled “County Kindness” in the PEC anthlogy, Don’t Honk Twice.
