Peacefully with her daughters at her side. Marilyn Ostrander (nee Way) passed into arms of angels on Thursday, June 30th, 2021 at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband Donald Ostrander and parents Ernest and Helen Way (nee Allison). Loving mother of daughters Kathryn Ostrander (late Len Vigodda), Kim (Robert) Bouma and Mary (Peter) Orr. Cherished grandmother of Jason (Carrie) Parks, Jennifer Parks (Pat Menard), Shima Vigodda, Alex Bouma, Dean Orr, Dennis Orr and Neil Orr. Predeceased by brother Gordon Way; survived by sisters Barbara (Joe) Maxwell and Margaret (Bob) MacDermaid. Fondly remembered by her great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and Richard Parks. Marilyn will be remembered and loved by her family and friends and will remain forever in their hearts. Marilyn’s family would like to offer thanks to the many people who showed kindness and support during her illness. Special thanks to the team of cardiologists at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre for their expertise and exceptional care during the last ten years. Marilyn was dearly loved by anyone fortunate enough to have known her. A Private Family Graveside Service will take place at Sophiasburgh Cemetery.
