PECI Fun Fair

The first fair since PECI became a K-12 school raises funds for the library

The Fun Fair celebrates school excellence and success. It’s the first since PECI transitioned to a Kindergarten to Grade 12 school in 2017.

The Fun Fair aims to engage the community of Prince Edward County to help raise money to for the PECI Library Upgrade Project. The goal is to make the space more inclusive for all students, both primary and secondary.

The project aims to raise enough money to support literary success for PECI students. The funds will buy new books, technology, and create more spaces for students to grow through reading.

Activities at the fair include a chance to arm wrestle Chris Armstrong of the Picton Armwrestling Club, as well as face-painting, a secondary art show, and the Scholastic Book Fair.

A silent auction organized by the elementary classes will include movies, camping and sporting equipment, cooking and baking supplies, PEC merchandise, and more.

The auction will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in Gym A inside PECI. Attendees are encouraged to stop by and place bids to support the school.

A BBQ where families can treat themselves to hamburgers, veggie burgers, hotdogs, fries, and baked goods is also on offer.

The students at PECI are excited, and celebrating another successful year of learning by providing this low-cost experience for all. PECI hopes to see you there.

The Fun Fair is free and tickets for the various games are $1. The Fair takes place in the activity field north of the school building.
