All throughout Prince Edward County events are being cancelled. As a result of the government imposed shutdown in the interests of public health, Prince Edward Community Theatre (PECT) has been compelled to curtail their 12th Season.
“To our patrons and the community at large, whatever challenges P.E.C.T. is required to face,” said Lynn Fennell, Chair and Founder of P.E.C.T. “We remain confident as an organization within our community as a whole, we will move forward with a renewed appreciation of all that brings value into our lives.”
PECT’s Board of Directors are hopeful Season 13 can be offered at Mt. Tabor Playhouse and the following schedule is how they plan on carrying out next season.
To begin productions of Season 13, Crimes of the Heart by Beth Henley will run Oct. 17 – 18 and 23 – 25, 2020.
The Sound of Murder by William Fairchild will be their second performance and will run Mar. 13 – 14 and 19 – 21, 2021.
The final act of the season, Harry Cashes In by Rob Wheeler, will run May 15 – 16 and 21 – 23, 2021.
PECT has tentatively booked the last two weekends of Jan. 2021 in case it’s necessary to reschedule Crimes of the Heart.
Prior to and during the first production Season 13 subscriptions will be offered at a low rate of $36.00.
