Picton’s Pride Parade 2026 joined the Bay of Quinte Regional Pride Festival at the Crystal Palace.
Main Street was sparkling Saturday afternoon as the annual Pride parade honked, marched, danced and waved its way from Lake Street to the Crystal Palace, where the Bay of Quinte Regional Pride Festival took place, featuring local artists and artisans.

People from all walks of life—families, pets, businesses, public servants, including municipal councillors, members of the army and the OPP—were decked out in rainbow colours to show their support for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

Aaron Miechkota, Minister of Cressy Glenora and South Bay United, embodied the spirit of the day when she belted out, “The United Church Welcomes you!”

Following the Crystal Palace festival, the party continued at Base31’s Commissary with dancing, dining and a drag show for Pride After Dark. “Pride Weekend is an important reminder that strong communities are built on inclusivity, respect, and a sense of belonging,” said Base31’s Liz Kohn. “It was inspiring to see so many people come together to support a community where everyone feels welcome, valued, and able to fully be themselves.”
