Jim Ramsbottom passed away suddenly at the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, Picton on Tuesday, January 8th, 2019. Jim Ramsbottom at the age of 79. Loved and loving husband of Lee Ramsbottom. Father of sons, Jay (May) and Doug Ramsbottom and grandfather to Abby. Survived by his sisters June Sills (Gary) and Betty Simpson (Wayne) and many nieces and nephews. Jim retired after a long career with the O.P.P. He was actively involved in the community through his work with the Wellington Dukes and various volunteer committees. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Friends visited with the family at the Ainsworth Funeral Home, 288 Noxon Avenue, Wellington on Monday, January 14th from 6-8 p.m. A private family service will be held at a later date.
