An extremely rare occurrence took place at the Prince Edward Curling Club last month as an end competing in the mixed league scored an eight-ender or snowman during league play. The scoring manoeuvre involves counting all eight rocks thrown in a single end. The rare score took place Thurs, Jan. 11. and Team members include Tim Cox (lead) Alex Lacher (second) Phyo Kyi (vice) and Trudy Brown (skip). All members have received pins and cetificates from the Canadian Curling Association to mark the momentous event.
